Replacement of water intake panel
eReM has build and designed a control panel that regulates the water supply for the production, offices and laboratories of a pharmaceutical company. The panel controls four pumps and two storage tanks with a PLC. The PLC contains soft starters, that are controlled by SIMOCODE Motor Management and Control Devices via a Profibus system. A touchscreen function is added to the panel. The advantage of this new system is that the PLC has a connection with the industrial ethernet network of all utilities. Therefore, the water intake system can be adjusted and monitored from different locations from now on.
